Millennium Falcon Cake !!!

Where do I begin... THIS CAKE WAS SO FUN!!!!!! Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!! I am sure that some of you may have suspected, but (here goes) I am a sci-fi freak! When I was asked to make a Millennium Falcon cake I almost burst. Only dogs could have heard my high pitch squeals.... I love everything about this cake! I wasn't even sad when it got eaten- now everyone has a little sci-fi in them :)

This cake was for my dear dear friend. I have known her since forever. She deserved a cake fit for a queen and that is what I gave her. She is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met and has the purest of hearts.

Here we are, fall 2009! I am constantly amazed at how the Lord has blessed this cake making fun. Everyday I praise Him for all the success Katie's Cakes has had. I just wanted to say thank you all very much for being such a wonderful part of it! I love creating cakes with you all. May the Lord Almighty bless you in everything that you do and may we all continually bring glory and honor to Him everyday! Thank you all again so much for all of your encouragement, comments, questions, orders, and prayers! I wish that I could express to you how much fun I have making all of these cakes. For those of you that know me.... I am sure that you are imagining my high pitch squeal and me jumping around at the thought of a new design. "My Boys" Cake

I made this cake for a wonderful women! She has been an inspiration in my life on how to take great care of your loved ones for many years. She asked that I make a cake that could handle a two day care ride. Her husband is bringing it to her son. It can survive the transport, but, I am not sure it can survive the transporter :)
