Is it a Boy or a Girl?

This cake just makes me happy! The parents to be asked me to make a cake that would reveal the gender of their sweet new bundle of joy. They asked that if it was a girl for the inside of the cake to be pink and if it was a boy for the inside of the cake to be blue. They wanted to find out with their family and friends together. I was more than excited to make a cake for this fun and wonderful family of three soon to be four!

Peach and Mario! They look so happy :) Notice the fire power flower... heeeehehe.
Now, unless you are weird like me, it would be much easier to buy figures to put on the top of this cake. Peach and Mario took six hours total to make them. (It was a great day!) I just really love doing this- I feel like the Lord has shown me what I am suppose to do in life.

Everything was edible on this cake except for Peach's vale.

This was not my design, but I loved recreating it! I can tell that the person that designed this cake really loves what they do, there is sooo much detail.

I AM A ROBOT Cake

I may have had a little too much fun making this cake! I just could not help myself. It was for an adorable little guys first birthday. The robots belly opens up and there is a cupcake inside just for the birthday boy! I was so excited when I delivered this cake that I was jumping around and giggling when I removed the pin to show the family the cupcake :) Heeeeeehehe it was so fun!

I didn't get a very good picture of this one, but, at least I took a picture of it :) There are pretty little pink flowers on the other side. I think that they really make the cake.

This was for my handsome nephew. My sister wanted it to look like his favorite blanket. I texture the icing to make it look like fabric. The cupcake on top was just for the birthday boy, he loooved it. His older sisters liked the monkey and banana's the most.
