Here we are, fall 2009! I am constantly amazed at how the Lord has blessed this cake making fun. Everyday I praise Him for all the success Katie's Cakes has had. I just wanted to say thank you all very much for being such a wonderful part of it! I love creating cakes with you all. May the Lord Almighty bless you in everything that you do and may we all continually bring glory and honor to Him everyday! Thank you all again so much for all of your encouragement, comments, questions, orders, and prayers! I wish that I could express to you how much fun I have making all of these cakes. For those of you that know me.... I am sure that you are imagining my high pitch squeal and me jumping around at the thought of a new design. I really feel like this is what the Lord made me to do in life. Thank you all for helping me do it!!!

"My Boys" Cake

I made this cake for a wonderful women! She has been an inspiration in my life on how to take great care of your loved ones for many years. She asked that I make a cake that could handle a two day care ride. Her husband is bringing it to her son. It can survive the transport, but, I am not sure it can survive the transporter :)

Fair First Date Cake!

This cake was so wonderful to do. A very thoughtful husband called me because he and his wife were about to celebrate 20 years since they first met. ( I know, how cute!) He wanted to surprise her with a cake that had something to do with their first date. He took her to the Oklahoma Sate Fair. I tried to put as much "fair" onto the cake as I could. I love the little pigs and horses!

I know that if you have been following my blog you have seen this cake, but, this is the cake that I made for News Channel 4 when they came over to interview me. I was so nervous. Chellie would ask me a question and I would hear myself answer and think "What am I saying? That doesn't even have anything to do with the question!". Oh well, I tried my best and am so thankful for the opportunity.
