I think that this is one of the cutest ideas I have encountered in the cake baking business. This cake is for a couple that found out today if they are having a baby boy or a baby girl. It is their first baby so they wanted to do something really special to tell their parents the gender. They sent me a text message when they found out and then I colored the cake- blue if it was a boy or pink if it was a girl. (I'll never tell what color the inside of this cake is) So, when the family cuts into the cake they will find out what the baby will be. I love that I get to be a part of these exciting and fun times in peoples lives!!! I wish that I could say that this was my idea, but alas it was the mother-to-be that came up with the entire thing. Brilliant!

Katie, thank you so much for making this for us!! You did an amazing job!! Everyone loved the cake and it tasted great too!! I can't believe how fast you were able to make it after you found out the gender. And the question marks were sparkly, I thought that was neat too!
